The American University men’s soccer team will compete in six spring games, Head Coach Todd West has announced.
The spring slate will start with four games away from Reeves Field, beginning Wednesday, March 17 at James Madison. The Eagles will then play against Loyola (Md.), Towson and UMBC in their next three contests.
On April 17, the spring slate will culminate when AU hosts Duke and Georgetown in a doubleheader at Reeves Field. Action will begin at 10 a.m.
“We’ve been indoors for the past six weeks so we are looking forward to getting outside to see how the new group of guys look,” remarked West.
American finished the 2009 season with a record of 9-7-3 and reached the Patriot League Championship Game. AU will return six starters for the 2010 campaign, including All-Patriot League performers Nick Kapus, Daniel Shannon and Mike Worden.
