CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - American University track & field senior Matthew Rainey earned his fifth career Academic All-Patriot League Team selection, the league office released on Monday.

He will graduate in May with his degree in Communication, Law, Economics, and Government (CLEG) with plans to move on to law school.

Rainey helped lead the men during the Patriot League Indoor Track & Field Championships earlier this month, anchoring the men's distance medley relay to a fourth-place finish after helping lead the 4x800-meter relay squad to eighth-place in the conference.
